DAHAB
The coral peninsula of Dahab, a Bedouin word meaning gold, reference to the yellow colour of its rocks and the sand of its magnificent beaches, is between Qura bay to the south and the small Ghazala bay to the north .

Here you can find the most picturesque Bedouin village in Sinai- Assalah, surrounded by very high palm-trees.

The numerous Bedouin of the zone gather here together with the ever increasing number of tourists ( usually youngsters ) in search of adventure in an informal and exotic environment .

The products of the local crafts-men are of some interest .
The mountains which rise immediately to the north of Dahab are interesting for excursions in cross-country vehicles, such as those to Wadi Qnai and Wadi Connection .
Diving and snorkeling in the extensive coral reefs can be carried out from Dahab .

All the diving sites can be reached from land, although you can hire boats at the various local Diving Center .

Of the most interesting sites, we recommend Canyon and Blue Hole, the latter of which should only be explored by diving experts .
The most important tourist center in Dahab is the Novotel Holiday village on the south coast of Qure bay, with a well-equipped Diving center .
