About Sinai:
The peninsula of Sinai occupies a surface of 56,000 sq . meters stretching from the
Aqabah Gulf to the Suez gulf on the red sea .
From a geographical point of view it is an extension of the Arab desert whilst politically it belongs to the
Arab Republic of Egypt .It is a land of desert and mountains and has a rare beauty on
account of its wonderful and extremely varied landscapes .
There is a mountainous massif in the center of the peninsula of some 1500 metres, and the highest point of all is the
Gebel Caterina at 2646 metres .....
